STEPHEN BENZIKIE
Stephen has worked alongside the leadership teams of privately owned and publicly listed companies for more than 25 years.
A Partner in leading public relations group Bell Pottinger until 2014, he was the Managing Director of a subsidiary of its former parent, Chime Communications PLC, from 2005 to 2010. At Edelman, the world’s largest public relations group, Stephen was Executive Vice President of financial communications and investor relations.
He has advised FTSE100, FTSE250 and small cap companies, financial institutions, family offices, private equity groups, sovereign wealth funds, owner-managed businesses and start-ups.
He works with organisations worldwide on many aspects of their corporate and financial communications, including corporate positioning, M&A and IPO communications, media relations, reputation and issues management and litigation support.
From 1991 to 1998, Stephen was a financial journalist at the Daily Mail newspaper in London. He began his career as an equity analyst at investment banks ANZ and Banque Indosuez. An experienced Non Executive Director and Advisory Board Member, Stephen has in recent years served on the Boards of management consultancy Kerma Partners, construction group City Square, social discovery app group Wamo Holdings and financial advisor Apollo Media.
Stephen is a Member of the Chartered Institiute of Public Relations (MCIPR) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA).
