ENDLESS COMPLETES SALE OF THEO FENNELL TO MANAGEMENT

Endless has completed the sale of Theo Fennell, one of Britain’s premier and iconic British jewellery and silverware brands, to TF Topco Limited, a newly incorporated vehicle backed by Theo Fennell himself and Managing Director, Neal Sussman.

Theo Fennell was established in 1975 by Theo and has been widely recognised for creating unique, handcrafted work that is beautifully detailed with an unrivalled quality of master craftmanship. The business is synonymous with its Chelsea location where it has been based for over 40 years.

Working alongside Theo, and latterly Neal, Endless has invested heavily in the business to lay the platform for its continued growth. This has included ensuring operations are fit for the digital age with a new CRM system and website that launched last year. The foundations laid down by Endless and the Management team meant the business performed robustly throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and is now in a strong position as it moves into Management ownership.

James Woolley, Partner, Endless, commented: “We are proud to have been associated with this iconic British brand and to have worked alongside Theo and Neal throughout the last four years. During this time, the business has been through a successful operational and sales transformation and we believe the time is right for Theo to return to Management’s ownership. We wish Theo and Neal the best of luck for the future”.

Neal Sussman, Managing Director, Theo Fennell, said: “Theo and I are delighted to have been given the opportunity to drive the business forward over the coming years. We both wish to personally thank Endless for all their guidance and support over the last few years, which has helped create a business that is in better shape now than it has been for some time”.

Theo Fennell said “I’m very proud that Endless has afforded us this opportunity and for me to own the Theo Fennell name for the first time in 40 years, they have been terrific. They have also established really solid foundations across the whole business over the last few years which leave us in an exciting position to realise the potential of this unique company.”

Endless (James Woolley and John Stevens) were advised by K&L Gates, led by James Cross, whilst Management were advised by Gunnercooke, led by Richard Barnett.
